"HELLO AND WELCOME,
I AM TRISTAN GICQUEL".

After several years of rich experiences working at the heart of health research and development, I chose in 2023 to dedicate myself to scientific and regulatory consulting and to create ORPHAN QUANTUM, my consulting and strategic cross-disciplinary support business in the Research and Development of drugs and medical devices.

Trained as an engineer, my journey has given me the opportunity to navigate and train across all R&D processes, from preclinical phase to clinical deployment, to market access while having the opportunity to collaborate with researchers, physicians, and health industry leaders.

In this sense, I have learned to navigate through the intricacies of scientific, regulatory, medical, political, and marketing affairs in various roles, allowing me to play key roles in the research and strategic positioning of new innovative therapies.

ACADEMIC

Early in my career, I consolidated my scientific foundations through a deep involvement in cross-disciplinary preclinical academic research as a Research Engineer.

This immersion, where technical-scientific engineering merged with prospective thinking, offered me a solid foundation for apprehending the challenges and opportunities of R&D.

This initial experience was reinforced by training courses leading to certification, giving me a better understanding of the issues involved in pharmaceutical development and clinical research.

This transition opened the way to a cross-disciplinary career, covering both preclinical and clinical aspects.

PRIVATE

During my last few years in the private consulting sector, I had the chance to collaborate with a multitude of stakeholders, and to expand my global strategic vision in pharmaceutical development.

This enabled me to work in fields as varied as biotherapies, gene therapies, medical devices, rare diseases and neurology.

This crucial stage of my career has honed my ability to provide top-tier regulatory strategic support and advice to my clients, while establishing essential bridges between scientific R&D and the regulatory and medical aspects vital to the development of new therapies or technologies.

ASSOCIATIVE

Additionally, my integration into a French consortium dedicated to rare diseases has opened up broad perspectives for me, both at the national and European levels, on the future of clinical R&D and the political aspects of regulations and laws surrounding Health Research and Innovation.

This period has been an opportunity to expand my professional network and to actively support researchers, doctors, and industry leaders in the design, development, and management of significant European projects.
